Warli is a Maharashtra art form that is practised in the Warli district, which is located in the foothills of the Western Ghats. This work has brought the tribal inhabitants of this area into the international spotlight. They put wet cow excrement on the walls, which was subsequently covered with red mud. They drew numerous designs depicting their daily lives using thin bamboo twigs dipped in rice paste. The walls were repeatedly covered and then painted as a ceremonial event, handing down the art through generations. Lalita's specialty is the use of bold colours, which gives your house, business, or restaurant a very trendy appeal.
