Cancellation and Refund

1. Order Cancellations

At Mahatribes, our products are handcrafted by the Tribal Community of Maharashtra, and each item is unique. Due to this, cancellations must follow the guidelines below:

• Cancellation Before Shipment:
  • Orders can be canceled within 24 hours of placing the order. You can cancel by contacting our customer support team.
  • If your order has been processed or shipped, it cannot be canceled.
• Cancellation After Shipment:
  • Once your order is shipped, we cannot process any cancellations. However, you may be eligible for a return or exchange once the item is delivered, depending on the return policy for that product (see below).

2. Return and Exchange Policy

We take great pride in the craftsmanship of our products. However, if you are not satisfied or receive a defective item, we’re here to help.

• Returns:
  • Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery for damaged or defective items only.
  • To initiate a return, please contact our support team with details and images of the defect.
  • Products must be unused, and in the same condition as received, including all packaging materials and tags.
• Exchanges:
  • Exchanges can be processed for defective items within 7 days of delivery, subject to availability.
  • In case an exchange is not possible, a refund will be processed.

3. Refund Policy

Refunds are processed in case of order cancellations before shipment or for approved returns.

• Refund Process:
  • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7-10 business days after the product has been received and inspected.
  • In case of COD (Cash on Delivery) orders, refunds will be issued via bank transfer. You will need to provide your bank account details to our support team.
• Shipping Costs:
  • In case of returns due to defective products, Mahatribes will cover the return shipping cost.
  • For other reasons, customers are responsible for the return shipping cost.

4. Non-Refundable and Non-Returnable Items

Given the handcrafted nature of the products, the following items are non-returnable and non-refundable:

• Custom-made or personalized products
• Products on clearance sale
• Items damaged due to misuse or improper care
